WV woman charged with stealing seven guns, more from Quincy home

21 June 2024- A break in back in May of this year has finally seen a West Virginia woman arrested for stealing $4,500 worth of items from a Franklin County man’s home. Kaylee Rochelle Alger is behind bars in Franklin County on $150,000 bail after being charged with felony burglary, felony theft, and felony criminal trespassing breaking into structure.

Pennsylvania State Police were called to a home on Furnace Road in Quincy Township just before 1am on May 2nd, 2024 after the homeowner called 911 to report a burglary. Troopers were advised that the caller’s ex-girlfriend, Kaylee Alger, had arrived at the home after being told specifically not to.

Troopers say they reviewed security camera footage of the property that saw Alger arriving at the home in a red Jeep with an unidentified man and entering though a side door. Alger is reportedly heard saying on the camera, “hurry up” before the camera feed was cut. PSP say they were informed that Alger knew that the victim would be out of the home at that specific time for work.

When they arrived, Troopers say they found the home in disarray and a safe with his passport stolen from a bedroom closet. Also stolen was an AR-15 SW MMP and six other guns from an unlocked gun safe as well as an iPad. All totaled, PSP say the total amount stolen came to $4,500.

Kaylee Alger is behind bars in Franklin County after failing to post bail of $150,000.
