September 5 – Reports have shown that more than 100 Chinese nationalists have attempted to gain access to American military installations in recent years.
They often pose as tourists, but a recent report has shown some have even pushed their way past guards at a hotel on a base in Alaska.
What is going on?
Pat Ryan of NewsTalk 103.7FM said, “This stuff is getting way too ridiculous.”
Attorney Clint Barkdoll said, “There are growing concerns about what China is up to and the reporting is that their economy is on the verge of collapse. Think of just massive Great Depression and that has some international security experts worried because could they get desperate and try to pull something off?”
This is happening in the backdrop of Vladimir Putin meeting with Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea.
Barkdoll said, “There’s talk of a weapons pact they may be making and we know China is in cahoots with all of these places. So definitely something the US needs to be mindful of.”
Michele Jansen of NewsTalk 103.7FM pointed out, “It’s just amazing. You can directly connect the United States’ policies under Biden with all these problems we’re talking about, not to mention the relationship or related problems that China is having that they may be worse off than us, but we’re following the same monetary policies as China. Look at what it’s done to them. They just had to throw a bunch of money from the government into propping up their property stuff. We heard about building cities that nobody’s living in, this fake job creation by the government, the money being laid out for jobs that really don’t increase the economy or production. We’re following the same footsteps and we wonder why everything’s going wrong? Not to mention all this threat of war as China gets desperate. North Korea giving ammunition freely, it looks like they’re going to be. with Russia, which will just keep the war going.”
Barkdoll added, “All of the foreign aid that China has done around the world, these belt and road initiatives where they go in and build infrastructure and they think that makes that country more loyal to China. It’s been an effective strategy. But now they’re pointing out China’s brokenness. They can’t afford all of this outreach around the world. It’s many of the same policies we’re seeing here, just massive deficits, massive debts, and there’s not enough revenue now coming in to support this. So if they’re about to collapse and go into depression, remember, they’re one of the most populated, if not the most populated country in the world still, so it’s going to be a real mess.”
Congressman John Joyce said, “I’ve said this since I first served on the China Task Force that the Chinese Communist Party remains a solid threat to our national safety and to our national security. These Chinese nationals, some of them posing as tourists, coming in with their selfie sticks, have accessed military bases and other sensitive sites right here in the United States, as many as 100 times in recent years. We know the CCP. We know what they covered up with a COVID-19 lab leak. We know that Chinese companies are continuing to steal intellectual property. We must continue to stand up to China. It has to start from the top, but my concerns are that Biden has turned a blind eye to this. So it has to come from the legislative body and these are issues when we go back to Washington that need to be addressed first and foremost.”
