Waynesboro man busted for allegedly selling crack to police informant

28 November 2022- A Waynesboro man with multiple previous run-ins with the law is behind bars on $250,000 bail after allegedly selling crack cocaine to a police confidential informant in a sting. Andrew Overland Mohn Sr is charged with felony distribution of an illicit substance and felony criminal use of a communications facility. Mohn failed to post his bail of $250,000.

In February of this year, members of the Waynesboro Police Department met with a confidential informant, who allegedly told them that they knew a white man named Andy Mohn could sell crack cocaine to them. The confidential informant then allegedly contacted Mohn by text to purchase the crack, which was confirmed by WPD officers. Mohn then allegedly met with the CI, selling them the crack and leaving. The substance that was sold to the CI later tested positive for crack cocaine at the PSP Labratories.

Mohn is behind bars after failing to post bail. His preliminary hearing is set for November 29th.
