During the burglary, the business allegedly lost between $200 and $500 in tools, including a green axe, a craftsman hand saw, a black craftsman socket set, and a chrome torque wrench.

The woman who allegedly knew the burglar was contacted police and police allegedly learned that her daughter’s boyfriend had come to their home and said that he “did a lick”. The boyfriend in question was allegedly Williams Jr, who had in his possession a number of tools and a stack of money. The witness’ daughter allegedly took possession of the cash after Williams’ insistence as well as the tools. The tools matched those stolen from the scene so they were turned over to police in addition to the cash.

On February 13th, police arrived at Williams’ work to talk to him. Williams allegedly said he knew nothing about the incident and refused to comment. It was at this point Williams was taken into custody.

Williams Jr is behind bars on $20,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for February 21st.
