Washington County Schools get new ELA curriculum, want to hear from YOU!

02 February 2024- Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) is seeking feedback from the community regarding StudySync by McGraw Hill. The High School English Language Arts Selection Committee has recommended purchasing StudySync to be the primary resource for English Language Arts (ELA) instruction for WCPS students in grades nine through 12.

WCPS will be holding an information night to provide members of the community with the opportunity to learn more about the StudySync resource.

At the information night, community members will have the opportunity to review the StudySync resources. WCPS staff will review the resources and be available to answer questions. The information night is open to all members of the Washington County community.

Those who are unable to attend the information night can still review the StudySync resources through an online demo account that has been established. The account can be accessed by following the instructions included on the StudySync Flyer.

Members of the community can submit their feedback on the StudySync resources using the StudySync Feedback Form. Questions can be directed to Supervisor of ELA and Social Studies Carly Pumphrey at pumphcar@wcps.k12.md.us.
