Wash Co. releases latest COVID data
HAGERSTOWN, MD—Washington County officials have released the latest COVID-19 update.
As of Jan. 12, there are 10,018 confirmed cases in the county, up 431 from Jan. 8, and 77,723 tests administered, with a positivity rate of 15.49%.
Countywide, there are 64 COVID-19 patients hospitalized. There were 176 confirmed deaths.
There were 4,149 vaccinations administered countywide of the first dose. The county is currently offering the vaccine to first responders, nursing home residents and staff, front-line judiciary staff and healthcare providers.
As a reminder, if you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19 or if you are experiencing any symptoms, please stay home and quarantine. If you have tested positive for COVID-19, please isolate yourself from other members of your household.
