He brings a depth of experience to the County Administrator position, having previously provided legal advice and services to the Board of County Commissioners and County departments, agencies, boards and commissions, affiliated nonprofit agencies, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

“I am looking forward to returning to the county as the new County Administrator. With over half of my life’s work dedicated to Washington County Government, I am excited to hit the ground running as I work closely with the Board of County Commissioners, county staff and citizens as we move in a forward direction,” Martirano said. “This has been a challenging year for all of us, but together we are looking toward a bright future.”
