Warfordsburg man charged with assaulting his pregnant girlfriend, threatening to kill family

27 November 2023- A Fulton County man is facing a dozen charges following a Wednesday night incident in Union Township. Tyler Matthew Bohrer is behind bars in Bedford County Prison in agreement with Fulton County on $5,000 bail. He’s facing three counts of misdemeanor terroristic threats, four counts of misdemeanor simple assault, three counts of misdemeanor harassment, and two citation counts of harassment.

PSP McConnellsburg Troopers were dispatched to a home on Fairview Road, Union Township just before midnight on November 22nd for a a domestic incident. Once on scene, Troopers were able to interview multiple family members who said that Tyler Bohrer was drunk and had previously gotten into an argument with his girlfriend.

During the incident, Bohrer was allegedly laying on the couch kicking at his girlfriend, who was 20 weeks pregnant. Witnesses believe that Bohrer may have kicked the victims in the stomach.

The incident continued, with Bohrer allegedly threatening to kill a number of people at the home, with the victims producing a six-minute-long video of part of the incident. Additionally, Borher punched multiple holes in the home’s wall and broke a light in his bedroom. According to one victim, Bohrer was significantly intoxicated during the whole incident.

Tyler Bohrer is behind bars on $5,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for December 4th.
