HARRISBURG—Sen. Judy Ward (R-30) has tested positive for COVID-19.
“Today I was tested and received results that I am positive for COVID-19,” she said Monday. “I believe it occurred at a Thanksgiving gathering. I am grateful that my symptoms are minor.”
Ward said she is adhering to the Senate’s COVID-19 Mitigation Policy and that her last interaction with the public was Wednesday, Nov. 25, during which time she wore a mask.
“I felt it was appropriate to share this information publicly,” Ward said. “My offices remain open and I continue to work remotely with my staff to serve constituents. I appreciate all the well wishes I have received.”
