UPDATE: PSP ID shooting victim as St Thomas man, arrest one for murder

23 June 2024- On June 22nd, Troopers from Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Mountain Shadow Drive, Greene Township for a report of a shots fired.

Upon arrival, members encountered a red van sitting in the middle of the street, occupied by a single black, non-Hispanic man in the driver’s seat. Troopers recognized the occupant as suffering from an unknown injury, removed him, began rendering aid, and summoned EMS personnel. Upon arrival of additional PSP units, a perimeter was established, and members began haling occupants of the nearby residence. A short time later, Anthony Jalil Henderson, 30, and two juvenile females exited the residence.

The investigation determined that the male victim, identified as Lance Mitchell Riely, 33 of Saint Thomas, suffered a gunshot wound and subsequently died of his injuries. The Troop H Major Case Team was subsequently activated to lead the homicide investigation.

As a result, PSP say that Henderson was identified as carrying out the shooting and was subsequently charged with 1st degree murder, 3rd degree murder, multiple firearms offenses, and multiple drug offenses.
