29 March 2023- A Waynesboro man is now looking at charges after his girlfriend was charged with drug possession. John Hoshall Cable is behind bars on $100,000 bail after being charged with felony possession with intent to distribute and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
On March 24th around 2:50pm, Waynesboro PD and EMS were called to a home on Ridge Avenue for a reported cardiac arrest of a male who was not conscious but was breathing. The man, John Cable, was assisted by EMS while police talked to his girlfriend Sara Fletcher. Fletcher allegedly said that her and Cable were drug users and had purchased cocaine for her birthday. Inside the home police allegedly found 9 separate baggies of suspected crack cocaine, $5,700 in cash, multiple cutting agents, and scales with residue on them.
Cable is behind bars on $100,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for April 4th.
