June 7 – When Tucker Carlson was let go from Fox News at the end of April, a whole lot of people were furious.
Others had a good feeling that Carlson would land on his feet – and, as predicted, he sure did land.
Last night, Carlson debuted a 38-minute segment on Twitter where he went after Ukraine and Senator Lindsey Graham.
Pat Ryan of NewsTalk 103.7FM said, “If anybody is ever going to run against Lindsey Graham, all you have to do is play a little clip of Lindsey Graham and that creepy, sick smile at the table with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. You want to talk about a war machine and these ghouls in Washington that are celebrating the death of people. Lindsey Graham is the ghoul and war mongering personified in DC.”
Attorney Clint Barkdoll wondered, “It will be interesting, how often is Tucker going to roll this. The latest metrics show over 20 million views. Twitter counts views differently than other platforms. As long as it shows up on your feed, it counts as a view but any way you cut it, there has been a big audience for this initial clip last night.”
Carlson has been critical of Graham for years.
Barkdoll said Carlson would point out that he, as the senior senator from South Carolina, has been this war monger, and wants to do all of these things to keep the US engaged in all of these international disputes. I think that’s a legitimate issue for commentators to bring up.”
Carlson sat in front of a cabin-like background in last night’s segment.
Barkdoll said, “The production quality I thought was actually very low, but I think viewers accept that. We know that this is not now done in the context of a television studio. He’s likely doing this from his cabin in Maine, which is where he filmed his show on Fox for many years.”

Michele Jansen of NewsTalk 103.7FM noted, “Of course he brought that up in context of the revelation of the blowing up of the Nord Stream pipeline. Now we have intelligence that points to the fact that despite the fact that for months people were criticized that they even questioned that it might not be Russia that blew it up which never made sense because it hurts them economically more than anybody else. It takes away their leverage over Europe, helping Ukraine with the war. But if you even mentioned it, you were called a Putin puppet. You were called somebody who just loves Russia. Well, no. Now we know it’s been revealed that our intelligence agencies knew for months that the Ukrainians were planning sabotage on that pipeline. This is really disturbing, because it seems like we’re being lied to by our own intelligence agencies, by our own government. They kept saying, we have no idea, it’s still under investigation. Yes, you did have an idea. But of course, then everyone starts speculating. Well, Ukraine probably didn’t have the wherewithal to do this on their own. Who helped them? Was it the United States? Was it some other actor? And so, distrust in the government has only grown once again.”
Barkdoll added, “When that happened, oil prices spiked. It was yet another incident in what seems like a never-ending dispute. And anyone who questioned it was labeled a conspiracy theorist. Well, now it’s looking like the whole time, Ukraine was much more involved in that than anyone had ever known. So I think it’s an important story. I mean, to the extent that it’s been brought up now whether it’s on this Tucker Carlson Twitter program or if other media outlets pick it up. It’s an important story that needs to be examined.”
