State Line man charged with child porn possession, dissemination

11 July 2024- A man from State Line, PA is facing a dozen felony charges from Pennsylvania State Police after years of work by police. Adam Douglas Tresler is facing 10 felony counts of child pornography possession, felony criminal use of a communications facility, and felony dissemination of child sex acts. He remains free on an unsecured bail of $100,000.

Pennsylvania State Police were originally notified of an account to the cloud storage company Dropbox uploading suspected child pornography on March 22nd, 2022. Additionally, another report was made to PSP that an account on Instagram had sent suspected child pornography on April 13th, 2022. Both of those accounts, according to PSP, traced back to Adam Tresler of State Line, PA.

After extensive investigations, Troopers executed a search warrant on Tresler’s home on Woodland Parkway on April 27th, 2023. That home, also occupied by family members, was searched and electronic devices were confiscated. Also taking place on that day was an extensive interview with Adam Tresler, which allegedly saw him admit to seeing some child pornography on multiple website and apps. Tresler reportedly gave police access to his devices, to which PSP were able to uncover multiple pieces of suspected child pornography, including videos on other apps like Snapchat. The charge of dissemination of child sex acts seems to be related to a video he sent to another user on Instagram, which PSP say was sexual in nature.

Adam Tresler is free on an unsecured bail of $100,000.
