21 August 2023- Troopers are called to a location on Dry Run Road West in Fannett Township to find a Spring Run man allegedly fighting someone before having the restrain him. Carlin Nelson Henry is charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor assault, misdemeanor resisting arrest, summary disorderly conduct engaged in fighting, and summary harassment. Henry is behind bars on $50,000 bail.
Pennsylvania State Police were called to a home on Dry Run Road West in Fannett Township around 6:45pm on August 19th for a reported domestic. When Troopers arrived, they allegedly found the victim to have his shirt ripped and torn and then tried to take Carlin Henry into custody on suspected assault. Police attempted to put Henry into handcuffs but were stopped numerous times by him, eventually having to take him to the ground to restrain him.
The victim was interviewed on scene after Henry was taken into custody. During the interview, the victim allegedly told police that after Troopers had left the home earlier that day Henry had become more aggressive towards him. Henry allegedly hit him in the face with a pillow multiple times before shoving him into the ground and choking him in the yard. After repeatedly telling Henry to get off him, the former got up and the fight ended. Police recorded multiple injuries to the victim, as well as multiple cuts and tears on the victim’s clothing.
Carlin Henry is behind bars on $50,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for August 29th.
