15 April 2024- A Chambersburg man accused of dealing crack cocaine is behind bars today in Franklin County on a hefty bail. Michael Ford Miller has been charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance and felony criminal use of a communication facility. Miller remains behind bars in Franklin County Jail on $250,000 bail.

Pennsylvania State Police were able learn through a confidential informant of a crack cocaine deal allegedly carried out by Michael Miller. Troopers say that on February 2nd, 2023, Miller sold crack to another individual in the presence of police all in Chambersburg Borough. The sale, they say, was set up using “a communications device”.

The drugs were believed at the time to be crack cocaine. Due to the length of time between the deal and the arrests, it is likely but unconfirmed in court filings that the substance was tested by PSP laboratories and confirmed to be cocaine.

Michael Miller remains behind bars on $250,000 bail.
