29 March 2023- A Shippensburg man has a warrant carried out on his address in December when police allegedly find drug distribution equipment. Ricky Lee Plyler is charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute by Pennsylvania State Police and is behind bars on $40,000 bail.
On November 30th of 2022, Pennsylvania State Police allegedly were in the presence of Ricky Plyer when he sold Methamphetamine to another person. On December 13th, Police allegedly observed Plyler again selling meth. On December 14th, however, police executed a search warrant on Plyler’s home on N Washington Street in Shippensburg.
Upon entry to the home, Plyler was found to be the only one there. While searching through Plyler’s home, police allegedly found plastic baggies and two scales. Additionally, police allegedly searched Plyler’s master bedroom and found two bags of methamphetamine concealed inside a pair of men’s underwear. Due to the scales and additional baggies, police determined Plyler was indeed selling and was not holding the drugs for personal use.
Plyler is behind bars in Cumberland County on $40,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for April 5th.
