CHAMBERSBURG – Please be advised that Clearwater Construction has been hired by PennDOT to mill and overlay the asphalt surface on the Route 30 bridge over the Conococheague Creek in the Borough of Chambersburg. Work will start on April 21, 2021 and is expected to be completed by May 12, 2021.
Construction activity will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. No short-term closures are permitted from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These times may be adjusted by PennDOT based on traffic volume if requested by Clearwater Construction.
Vehicle access will be restricted, with a Clearwater Construction flagging crew to direct vehicles through the construction site.
While this is a PennDOT project, the Borough of Chambersburg will serve as a conduit for communication between vehicle operators, property owners, Clearwater Construction and PennDOT.
