Reminder: Pipe replacement to begin on 997 between Waynesboro and Quincy, road closed

10 July 2023- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a department maintenance crew in Franklin County is scheduled to begin a large pipe replacement project next week on Route 997 between Waynesboro and the village of Quincy.

Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, July 10, and will continue for about two weeks. Route 997 will be closed to through traffic. A detour will be in place using Manheim Road, Route 316 and Main Street.
