CHAMBERSBURG – Friday marks a solemn day to remember those who died in the September 11 terrorist attacks.
President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden will both speak at the Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Trump will speak in the morning while Biden will attend an afternoon ceremony after attending a ceremony at the 9/11 memorial in New York.
Vice President Mike Pence will appear at ground zero, said the White House. The New York memorial will have a different feel this year thanks to COVID-19.
The thousands of family members in attendance will hear recordings of their loved one’s names as opposed to reading their names live.

8:46 a.m. The first airplane, American Airlines Flight 11, hit the north tower of the World Trade Center
9:03 a.m. United Airlines Flight 175 hit the south tower of the World Trade Center.

9:59 a.m. South tower of WTC collapses
10:03 a.m. United 93 crashes in Somerset County, PA
10:28 a.m. North Tower falls
10:50 a.m. Pentagon collapsed
