PSP Vice Unit makes big drug distribution bust in Hamilton Township

02 March 2023- A Chambersburg man is looking at multiple felonies after members of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice Unit execute a search warrant on his home. Jeffrey L Pine is charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to distribute and one count of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. Pine failed to post bail of $75,000.

Around 4:00pm on March 1st, Pennsylvania State Police Troopers executed a search warrant on a home on Paper Mill Road in Hamilton Township, Franklin County. Police found Jeffrey Pine and another person present in the home, with Pine found in the rear bedroom. Inside of Pine’s bedroom was a Rubbermaid container with suspected cocaine, suspected crack cocaine, and suspected fentanyl pills in it.

A glass vial with THC wax, a digital scale, and multiple other items of drug paraphernalia were found in the room. A bag of white powder and a knife with residue on it were found in the kitchen of the home.

Pine himself was also searched, with police allegedly finding a large sum of money, plastic baggies, and a bag of crack cocaine in his pants. All of this let police to believe the drugs were not for personal use but rather for distrobution.

Pine is behind bars on $75,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for March 14th.
