CARLISLE – If you have precious cargo riding in your vehicle, you want to make sure the little one is properly restrained.
The Pennsylvania State Police Troop H, will be conducting several car seat events across the southcentral area to coincide with National Child Passenger Safety Week, which will occur from Sept. 20-Sept. 26 at locations throughout the region.
Troopers who are certified as car seat technicians will be available at each event to install child passenger safety seats and answer questions.
All events are free to attend. Safety protocols will be in place to ensure the safety of everyone at the events.
Upcoming car seat checks will be held:
Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Target parking lot, 246 Westminster Drive, Carlisle
Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg, East Lot, 1863 Gettysburg Village Drive, Gettysburg
Sept. 22 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Walmart parking lot, 200 Kocher Lane, Elizabethville
Sept. 23 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Kohl’s parking lot, 5125 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg
Sept. 23 from 2 to 8 p.m. at GIANT Foods, 925 Norland Ave., Chambersburg
Sept. 23 from 3 to 11 p.m. at GIANT Foods, 12 Newport Plaza, Newport
Sept. 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Outlet Shoppes at Gettysburg, East Lot, 1863 Gettysburg Village Drive, Gettysburg
