12 July 2023- Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg say that during the month of July they’ll be conducting a sobriety checkpoint somewhere within Fulton County. In a release, PSP didn’t give an exact time, date, or where the checkpoint will be but want to inform the public that they are actively following the roadways.
Troopers provide the notice to the public “as an effort to combat and deter impaired drivers on the roadways of the Commonwealth”.
PSP in McConnellsburg have used this before, most recently in May for the Memorial Day Holiday, with them initially not saying where the checkpoint was or when it would happen.
As always, drivers on all roads are reminded “drive sober or get pulled over”.
