PSP say Easter weekend DUI checkpoint saw nearly dozen citations, no arrests for drunk driving

03 April 2024- An Easter Weekend DUI checkpoint is in the books in Franklin County and PSP say have said it resulted in over four dozen stops.

Pennsylvania State Police Troopers have announced the successful execution a DUI checkpoint in the 900 block of Lincoln Way West in Hamilton Township commenced on March 29th. During that stop, PSP say they wrote 11 total citations, issued 18 written warnings, made zero DUI arrests, and made one drug arrest.

The public checkpoint was structured around the Easter holiday, specifically on Friday, March 29th. Any questions on the checkpoint should be directed at PSP-Chambersburg, reference incident number PA24-411291.
