PSP say 69 year old Greencastle woman was victim in Monday crash with tractor trailer

19 July 2023- A Greencastle woman is pronounced deceased at the scene of a morning crash in Antrim Township on Monday.

Pennsylvania State Police say that Pamela M Scott, 69, of Greencastle was driving eastbound on Williamson Road in her 2004 Jeep Wrangler when she began to drift into oncoming traffic.

After Scott’s vehicle crossed the double yellow line in the road, police say it struck the front driver’s side headlight of an oncoming tractor trailer driven by a Shippensburg man. Scott’s vehicle then spun 180 degrees and came to a stop still on the road. The tractor trailer continued, riding up an embankment before rolling over onto its driver’s side.

Pamela Scott was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner’s office. The driver of the tractor trailer reported no injuries as a result of the crash.
