PSP Roundup: Vehicle stolen on Wayne Avenue turns up across state line, more

20 June 2023- Pennsylvania State Police are looking into a reported scam involving a 70 year old man being deprived of $450. Police say that this scam took place between June 5th and June 7th and involved the elderly victim sending $450 to the perpetrators. This all allegedly took place in Greene Township, Franklin County.

PSP began an investigation on Wayne Avenue in Guilford Township of a stolen vehicle that later turned up in Hagerstown. Troopers allegedly responded to a location on Wayne Avenue around 2:45am on June 3rd for a reported motor vehicle missing. That white Honda Accord was later recovered in Hagerstown, Maryland. Police reports do not show that anyone specifically was charged.
