PSP Roundup: Troopers investigate thefts in Chambersburg, Greencastle

13 March 2024- Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating a reported burglary that took place Monday afternoon outside Greencastle. Troopers say they were dispatched around 2:40pm on March 11th to a vacant property on Williamsport Pike in Antrim Township for a burglary.

During the incident, PSP say a glass door was broken by unknown actors and a silver push mower was taken. The total loss, due to both damage and theft, was about $150. The incident is currently under investigation and anyone with information should contact PSP Chambersburg.

About $1,500 worth of tools and car items are being reported as stolen from a location on Mower Road earlier this winter. PSP say that they were alerted to an inactive theft at the intersection of Sugar Bush Lane and Mower Road in Guilford Township around 12:45am on February 21st.

During the incident, Troopers say unknown suspects stole a toolbox containing “miscellaneous tools, car straps, and towing accessories”. The listed value of the items by PSP comes to $1,500.

A number of vehicle parts were taken from a tire shop in Greencastle earlier this year and PSP are looking for the public’s assistance. Troopers say that between 7pm on February 18th and 7am on February 19th, four wheels and tires were stolen from the Victory Lane Tire and Alignment shop on John Wayne Drive in Greencastle.
