01 June 2023- Troopers are investigating theft of gasoline from a location on Cumberland Highway in Lurgan Township. Police say that around 2:45pm on May 30th, a 37 year old Shippensburg man had $64.50 worth of gasoline stolen from him. PSP are investigating and looking for public assistance.
An investigation by Pennsylvania State Police into damaged industrial light fixtures on Upper Strasburg Road has yielded no suspects at the current time. Troopers say that between 9pm on May 29th and 11am on May 30th, $300 worth of industrial light fixtures with fluorescent bulbs were damaged or destroyed in Letterkenny Township. Police spoke to the victim, a 67 year old Pleasant Hall man, but have not named a suspect. Anyone with information should contact PSP-Chambersburg, investigating officer Sinagoga.
Troopers and Children and Youth Services are investigating an alleged sexual assault of a 10 year old St Thomas boy. Police say the assault allegedly occurred on May 29th between 9:30am and 1pm at a home in St Thomas Township. The investigation is ongoing.
An unnamed individual is being charged with harassment by prisoner after an altercation at South Mountain Restoration Center. Police say that around 6:45pm on May 11th, a 13 year old boy was assaulted by an 18 year old boy at the facility. The case is currently pending court after the 18 year old was charged.
