PSP Roundup: Barricaded subject incident, resolution to a missing Waynesboro juvenile, more

16 October 2023- PSP have released little information but say an incident on Roxbury Road on October 8th was a barricaded subject incident. Police say a 38 year old Harrisburg man was arrested following the incident that occurred around 12:20am. While his name has not been released, police say he was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.


A 34 year old woman is facing charges after allegedly violating a PFA in Fayetteville earlier this month. Jennifer Boland, 34, of Shippensburg allegedly violated a protection from abuse against a 38 year old Fayetteville man in the 3800 block of Black Gap Road on October 11th. She was subsequently charged and was housed at the Franklin County Jail.


PSP investigated and closed out a missing minor case last month. They are not releasing the name of the boy, but describe him as a 16 year old Waynesboro boy who was reported missing at 2pm on September 13th.

The juvenile returned to his home and to the care of his mother some time after the incident was reported. PSP also confirmed the juvenile was at home and he was not hurt.


A trail camera is missing in Warren Township and is being investigated as a theft according to Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers say that a Tactacam Reveal X-Pro trail camera was taken from a location away from the road but nearest to the 5300 block of Little Cove Road.

The incident occurred sometime between 8:25pm on October 6th and 9:48am on October 7th. PSP continue to investigate but anyone with information about the incident should contact PSP-Chambersburg.
