24 August 2023- Pennsylvania State Police are asking for the public’s help after a burglary into the old Chambersburg Mall in Greene Township earlier this summer.
PSP say that between 5pm on July 25th and 9am on July 26th, an unknown amount of people snuck into the mall and damaged the inside. The burglars didn’t take anything, it appears, but they did damage $500 worth of display stands with a map of the former mall. Additionally, they reportedly graffitied the walls.
Troopers do not have any suspects at this time but ask for the public’s help with any information about the incident. Anyone with details on the incident should contact PSP Chambersburg at (717) 264-5161 and reference case number PA 2023-980384.
