22 August 2023- An investigation is underway into a loan scam that had occurred in the area of Mason Dixon Road in Antrim Township earlier this month. Police were dispatched to to the location just north of the Pennsylvania/Maryland border for a 56 year old Greencastle man around 3:45pm on August 15th. Troopers say that the man had sent $40,000 to an unknown actor for a $75,000 loan.
The victim is currently out $40,000 with no indication that the loan was legitimate. Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the incident.
