HARRISBURG—Figures released this week by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board show dramatic increases year over year in iGaming and Sports Wagering revenue during October of this year compared to October 2019.
Total gaming and fantasy contests revenue generated in the Commonwealth during October 2020 was $320,218,237, which represents an increase of 12.87% compared to revenue generated in October 2019.
Sources of gaming revenue regulated by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board include slot machines, table games, internet gaming, retail and internet sports wagering, fantasy contests and video gaming terminals.
Hollywood Casino at Penn National saw a nearly 69% increase over last year, with a total of $34,968,936 in October revenue.
Slot machines and table games saw a decrease in revenue statewide, with record revenue in the iGaming and Sports Wagering sector fueling the majority of the overall increase.
