27 October 2023- If you hear anything concerning coming from the Letterkenny Army Depot in Franklin County today, know that it is likely a number of first responders training with an active shooter drill.
Franklin Fire Company, numerous other fire, emergency medical service companies, and police will be at the Letterkenny Depot today for training on how to best respond to an active shooter. While it is unclear what companies and departments will be there, you may see or hear numerous different groups in a hurry.
Franklin Fire wants the public to know this is all a drill and there is no immediate threat to the community.
