26 October 2023- The Newville Borough Police Department was alerted of a recent request for donations received via the US Mail. The letter requests financial assistance for the NEWVILLE AREA POLICE for purchase of Body Armor and Training.
This letter has zero affiliation with the Newville Borough Police Department. No other entity raises funds for us. The police department does raise funds occasionally, but it is rarely a request to the general public.
Most of our fundraising comes from our great local businesses who are always happy to assist. Any requests for donations for the police department can always be confirmed by calling our office at 717-776-5513.
