22 June 2023- Felony charges await a man with no fixed address after he allegedly robs Sheetz on Monticello Court just before 10pm on Wednesday. Micah Madison Vickers is charged with felony robbery, misdemeanor theft, and summary retail theft. Vickers failed to post bail of $50,000.
Chambersburg PD were called to Sheetz at the intersection of Monticello Court, Lincoln Way West, and West Loudon Street around 9:43pm on June 21st for a reported robbery. Police talked to the female victim who allegedly said that she was running the cash register when a man, now believed to be Micah Vickers, approached the register brandishing a knife. Vickers allegedly demanded all the twenties and hundreds from the register but only got $180 in twenties before leaving. He was later found and detained near the Conococheague on Lincoln Way West.
When he was taken into custody, police allegedly found him to be in possession of $180 in twenties and a six-pack of Yuengling. Review of store cameras allegedly found Vickers also take the six pack during the robbery.
Vickers failed to post bail of $50,000. His preliminary hearing is set for June 27th.
