Local manufacturing history part of regional steam engine show

MECHANICSBURG — Steam engines made in Waynesboro are part of the Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association Steam Engine and Tractor Show, being held through Monday, Sept. 7, at the show grounds near Mechanicsburg

The event includes steam traction engines, an old PRR steam train, antique tractors, Working saw mill, model train exhibit, two museums, food, and flea market. 

Train rides on the Pennsylvania Railroad steam engine will be offer Monday, as well as other demonstrations and several hundred vendors. There is a paid admission. For more information, call 717-766-4001 or visit wghsea.org or on Facebook at wghsea.org.
