Joyce votes NO to Continuing Resolution to fund Federal Government

15 November 2023- Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13), released the following statement on his vote against H.R. 6363, the Further Continuing Appropriations and Other Extensions Act:

“Pennsylvania families cannot afford to continue the reckless spending of the Biden Administration. While I commend Speaker Johnson on his approach to prevent a massive omnibus spending bill at Christmas time, it’s time for Congress to pass individual appropriations bills that address the challenges that we face in a way that is fiscally responsible.”

“Unfortunately, the Continuing Resolution proposed today fails to reduce our deficit, address inflation, or secure our porous southern border. I could not support this legislation.”
