How will a Trump rally in The Bronx turn out today?

May 23 – Former president Donald Trump will be in The Bronx today where the demographics are 64% Hispanic and 31% African American.

Interestingly, the Democrats seem to be a little up in arms.

Pat Ryan of NewsTalk 103.7FM pointed out, “The amount of energy and interest in the Trump campaign after what this administration presently has done to the Hispanic and the black vote is of everybody’s concern. Oh, here comes Joe Biden or here comes insert Democrat now. It looks like I’m going to do my pandering tour to the black vote again and then see ya, take care, bye bye. Oh, your menthol cigarettes, how insulting he is on that front. We’ve got Trump going into the South Bronx. He’s a smart guy in an area that put really, really pathetic Congresswoman into Office a couple of times. This AOC between some of her dumb videos, she is a perfect example of ‘if you’re not paying attention then you’re going to pay for it.’”

Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the US Representative from New York’s 14th Congressional district, which includes the eastern part of The Bronx and part of north-central Queens.

Attorney Clint Barkdoll said, “She has some competition this year. I think she’s going to still get reelected but this is pretty remarkable for Trump to do a rally in the South Bronx because this typically would not be an area that would be politically favorable to him. But during the trial a couple of weeks ago, on those Wednesday’s off, he did some smaller events in New York City and in parts of the five boroughs and got pretty good responses. The Republican Party, even though they’re in the vast minority in New York City, have very active groups, including young Republicans that apparently helped organize some of those events. So I’ll be curious to see what kind of a crowd he draws. I think he’s going to draw a very big crowd.”

Trump will be speaking. The topic has not been reported.

Barkdoll said, “I think it’s going to be well received. He is not going to carry New York state by the way, in spite of his proclamations to the contrary, but I think these kinds of events will help him get some traction, particularly among the Hispanic and black communities around the US and I’m sure that’s what this is targeted to do.”

Michele Jansen of NewsTalk 103.7FM noted, “The fact that AOC came out and stated the quiet part out loud yesterday, the fact that he’s being held, she said he’s got an ankle bracelet holding him and yeah, that’s exactly the purpose of this lawsuit and we all know it now. It’s all so blatant. It’s just absurd, but it’s like nobody cares. The press isn’t being as outraged as they should be over this. But, in so many ways, it also seems to give Donald Trump some help. That doesn’t stop the fact I’m going to keep harping on it. We need to be very worried about what’s happening to our judiciary, the legal process.”
