CHAMBERSBURG – At 3:34am, 18 September 2020, a vehicle traveling westbound on Catherine St turned onto Water St and struck the light pole at this intersection on the Rail Trail. The striking vehicle was identified as possibly a 2007 or 2008 silver in color Nissan Sentra. The accident removed the front driver’s side wheel well and a large portion of the quarter panel as shown in the photograph.
