HAGERSTOWN – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the community’s assistance with identifying the driver of a motor vehicle that struck a pedestrian and failed to remain on scene.
On December 5, 2020, at approximately 7:30 PM, the Sheriff’s Office responded to South Pointe Drive in the area of Oak Ridge Drive, Hagerstown, MD, for the report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian, an adult female, was transported to Meritus Medical Center for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The striking vehicle is described as a white cross-over vehicle with an older female driver (no further information is available). The vehicle did not remain on scene and left prior to first responders’ arrival.
