25 July 2023- In a social media post advising travelers, the Mercersburg Area Fire Fighters And EMTs, IAFF Local 5421 say that they are dealing with a hazmat incident that might have you treading lightly as if you were on eggshells. 07/25 B shift is currently on scene in the 9100 Block of Heisey Road in Montgomery Township for a hazmat. Units were called at the request of State Police who had a tractor trailer leaking Eggs into a nearby creek.
