Harpers Ferry Park Rangers looking for man who alleged exposed himself to multiple women

27 June 2024- The National Parks Service in Harpers Ferry is looking for the assistance of the public after they received reports of a man “committing a lewd act” in front of women last week.

Rangers say that they were informed of an incident at 5pm on June 12th involving a white man described as about 5’9″, stocky build, in his 30’s, has a short haircut, and was wearing a black cut off shirt, black socks, and carrying a black backpack. This unidentified man, Rangers say, exposed himself and committed a lewd act in front of several women near the Pulp Mill ruins on Virginius Island, which is under the jurisdiction of the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Rangers.

Anyone with information that could help investigators should contact NPS Rangers. The NPS specifies that you can remain anonymous in this endeavor.
