06 December 2022- As staff shortages and supply chain issues plague all industries, an unlikely service looks to be hitting: leaf and lawn waste collection. The City of Hagerstown today announces that collections will be delayed, with the last week being rolled out on December 18th. Full release from the City is below.
Due to staff shortages and illnesses, Waste Management collection crews are delayed in collecting yard waste. The last yard waste collection for the calendar year will be the week of December 18th.
For the next three weeks, expect delays with yard waste collection. This means your collection may be delayed one or two days past the normal collection day. Please leave your yard waste out for collection.
