Greencastle man deceased at the scene of motorcycle crash outside Marion on Tuesday night

24 April 2024- A 30 year old Greencastle man is being named as the person who has died following a multi-vehicle crash last night in Antrim Township. PSP say that Zachary Daley, 30, of Greencastle was not transported to the hospital following a crash involving a Mini and an Audi crossover.

PSP say that the crash occurred around 8:22pm on April 23rd in the 6400 block of State Route 11, Molly Pitcher Highway. A Mini Countryman driven by a 55 year old Greencastle woman was driving southbound in the right hand lane of Molly Pitcher Highway while it was being flanked by Daley’s Suzuki motorcycle. The Mini, PSP say, tried to change lanes and Daley’s Suzuki was struck by the rear end of the Mini.

It was at this point that investigators say Daley’s motorcycle went into the northbound lane of travel, striking an Audi Q5 driven by a Rockhill Furnace, PA man then continued into a utility pole. The driver of that Audi was taken to Chambersburg Hospital by Greencastle EMS but the Mini driver was released from the scene after being treated by Marion EMS.

Due to Daley not being transported, it is likely that he was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office. He was 30 years old at the time of his death and Troopers say he was wearing a properly fitted motorcycle helmet.
