10 March 2023- The girlfriend of the man arrested in Hamilton Township on drug sale charges is now looking at distribution charges in connection to the even more drug sales. Kerri Marie Shockey is charged with four separate counts of possession with intent to distribute. Shockey is behind bars on $250,000 bail.
On March 1st around 4pm, members of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice Unit for Troop H executed a search warrant on a home in the 1000 block of Paper Mill Road, Hamilton Township, Franklin County. During the search, Jeffrey Pine and his girlfriend Kerri Shockey were taken into custody. Subsequent interviews allegedly led to police finding out Shockey doesn’t technically live at the home but stays there on and off with her boyfriend, Pine. She did, however, know Pine actively sells and cooks crack, with him allegedly keeping the drugs in female makeup bags and a draw string bag. He allegedly does this so he can keep everything together to “throw it out the window if they encounter the police”. Shockey allegedly said they probably had hard, or crack cocaine, in them.
Shockey allegedly took police to the bedroom where she showed them the drugs, where a large amount of fentanyl pills, crack, cocaine, and other items were found. When police allegedly asked Shockey if she had anything in her possession, she allegedly said she “had some caps in her purse” but denied having any needles because “she snorts dope and does not inject it”. In Shockey’s purse, however, was over $900 in cash.
Police asked where all the cash came from, with Shockey allegedly telling them she sold her prescription of suboxone, a drug that treats opioid addiction, to a man named “Jim” earlier that morning.
Shockey also allegedly told police that there was a jar in the living room containing baking powder in it to cook cocaine into crack. Using a spoon that already had cocaine on it, the baking powder was scooped out. Police then found a knife and spoon nearby with both on them. Pine was allegedly cooking crack that very morning for later sale.
Shockey is behind bars on $250,000 bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for March 21st.
