Fulton County father charged with sexually assaulting family member

21 June 2024- A Union Township man is facing multiple charges relating to an alleged sexual assault earlier this year. Sean E. Kuntz is free on an unsecured bail of $100,000 after being charged with felony aggravated indecent assault of a child, felony corruption of minors, misdemeanor indecent assault of a person less than 13, and misdemeanor indecent exposure.

Pennsylvania State Police in McConnellsburg were initially informed of an alleged sexual assault against an 11 year old on May 10th, about a week after it reportedly took place. Troopers initially spoke to the victim, with them learning that Sean Kuntz had begun rubbing her back before trying to touch her while he already consumed alcoholic beverages. A full interview was scheduled at a child advocacy center soon after.

During this interview, the victim allegedly told investigators that she was sexually assaulted by Kuntz, including not just rubbing her back but a significant assault. Describing the series of events in detail, the victim also described telling her family about the incident after it had happened. That set in motion the full investigation shortly after.

After the investigation and forensic interview, Troopers tried to contact Sean Kuntz. They were unsuccessful in this endeavor, and charges were subsequently filed.

Sean Kuntz is free on an unsecured bail of $100,000.
