Fulton Co. PSP Roundup: Troopers have to break up fight between elementary schoolers in McConnellsburg

30 January 2024- A total of four victims have come forward after an alleged incident with a Warfordsburg man in McConnellsburg over the weekend. Police have charged Joshua Perez, 34, of Warfordsburg with harassment by physical contact after an altercation with two men and two women, all from Fulton County. Perez, PSP say, “did engage in physcial contact with four victims”. He has since been issued a non-traffic citation.

It doesn’t look like any police charges have been filed but Troopers did have to be called to break up a reported fight on a McConnellsburg school bus last week. Troopers were dispatched to the bus around 3:15pm on January 24th, which was on Woodside Drive at the time, for a reported fight.

Two juveniles were involved in the fight, with PSP saying at least one of them was an 8 year old girl. The other individual was also under the age of 10, but specifics are not known at this time.

No further action looks to have been taken, but a report was filed through PSP-McConnellsburg.

A McConnellsburg man is facing charges of drug possession after a traffic stop earlier this month. PSP say they pulled over a 2010 Toyota Camry belonging to Dallas Croasmun, 20, of McConnellsburg where he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. That personal use quantity in Pennsylvania, if convicted, would amount to a fine.

Troopers continue to look for a missing piece of lawn equipment belonging to a company out of Hagerstown last year. PSP have just recently issued a report for a stolen wood chipper belonging to Asplundh Tree Experts of Hagerstown that was taken from a location on Buck Valley Road sometime around 5pm on November 7th, 2023.

Anyone with information on this incident should contact PSP McConnellsburg.
