11 August 2023- A Massachusetts man is out two tools with a value of around $250 after a reported burglary to a home on Knobsville Road. Police were called to a home in the 400 block of Knobsville Road for a reported theft of a Troy Built 25cc weed eater valued at $200 and a black hand torch valued at $50. The burglary happened over a long period of time, with investigators saying it occurred sometime between 11/25/22 and 06/20/23. Police continue to investigate.
An employee at the Sideling Hill Service Plaza is without a catalytic converter and exhaust system after a May 25th theft. Police were called to the employee parking lot for the rest stop at N Hess Road and Mountain House Road in Taylor Twp around 12:30am on May 25th when an employee found his exhaust cut off his 2004 Toyota Tacoma. PSP is investigating another exhaust system theft in Fulton County, this time on Wetzville Road in Belfast Township. Troopers were called to the 2400 block of Wertzville Road to investigate the theft of an exhaust system on a 1997 Ford motorhome between 7/19 and 7/20. A 16 year old juvenile boy is looking at a citation for harassment following a fight on Lincoln Way East in Todd Township. Police responded around 8:30p on August 4th and found that a 16 year old Warfordsburg boy had punched the 18 year old victim multiple times and kicked him in the head.
Two Kentucky men are safe following a reported road rage incident near Great Cove Road and Pleasant Ridge Road in Belfast Township. Police responded around 5:45pm on August 5th and learned that a group of 15-20 motorcycles were pulled over on the right hand side of Rt-522 when one of the bikers waved a vehicle to pass. The truck passed and one of the motorcycles began to tailgate the driver of the truck.
After slamming on their brakes multiple times, the truck was passed by one of the bikers and a physical altercation ensued when both of them pulled over. The driver and passenger in the truck got out and the biker allegedly spit in the driver’s face. He additionally punched the driver side mirror and head butted the passenger before fleeing the scene.
The motorcycle rider was described as a white, non-Hispanic male in his late 20s with black hair. He was riding a Yamaha R-1 with black stripes.
