11 July 2023- A McConnellsburg man is looking at PFA violation charges after allegedly making contact with a 32 year old female victim. Wilhelm Leis, 35, is charged with the PFA violation after he allegedly went to a location on Back Run Road in Ayr Township on July 11th around 12:30am.
PSP-McConnellsburg announces the arrest of a Morgantown, PA man for DUI while on a motorcycle in the borough last month. Damian Thomas, 23, is additionally charged with possession of marijuana following a traffic stop near the intersection of 3rd Street and E Spruce Street during the evening of June 23rd.
Charges of sexual abuse of a child were carried out against what the deem as victim/arrestees following a Safe to Say report from a Fulton County School District. Police say that the report originated from Southern Fulton School District and police allegedly confirmed that a 13 year old female and 15 year old male were sending sexual images to each other.
A stash of needles and drug paraphernalia were allegedly discovered in the borough of McConnellsburg late last month by Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers say that they responded to the 700 block of Lincoln Way East and found 41 hypodermic needles and a metal spoon with drug residue on it. Nobody has been charged in relation to the incident.
In another found drugs case, police allegedly found a small amount of marijuana, a pill bottle with 8 bupropion pills, and a glass pipe at a location on Great Cove Road in Belfast Township. Police ask that anyone with information to this case, which they log as being found between June 23rd and June 25th, to contact PSP-McConnellsburg.
Police are looking into the a burglary of a Harrisonville home owned by a 91 year old woman. Troopers responded to the home and learned that between 4:45pm and 11:30pm on July 4th, unknown actor(s) forcefully entered the home on Lincoln Highway in Licking Creek Township.
Taken during the burglary was a silver watch with diamonds valued around $400, another watch valued around $300, and an additional watch valued around $100. The victim allegedly told police that the perpetrators left the scene heading east on Route 30 in a black sedan. While leaving the scene, however, one burglar left a size 8 red, white, blue, and black Puma shoe.
