18 January 2023- As January rumbles on, more and more candidates for local office announce their intentions to run either for reelection or for a new office. For Franklin County Commissioner, two major candidates have already announced their decisions to run as a team, Democrats Bob Ziobrowski and Cameron Schroy. For Franklin County District Attorney, incumbent Independent Matt Fogal has announced his intent to run for reelection. Additionally, for the office of Coroner Jordan Conner has announced his intention to run for the retiring seat of Jeffrey Conner, who have been in leadership with the Coroner’s Office for over 20 years.

Franklin County Commissioner Dave Keller has announced his candidacy for re-election in the 2023 Republican Primary.
“If re-elected, I will continue to work to streamline county government and provide the best possible programs, services, and facilities in support of the health, safety and general well-being of the residents of Franklin County,” Keller said.
Keller has been a lawyer since 2007. Prior to that, he worked as a computer network consultant.
Keller also served in the United States Navy Reserve as an intelligence specialist from 2001 to 2007.
Keller serves on several nonprofit boards, and he and his family attend First United Methodist Church in Chambersburg.
Keller is a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. He has a bachelor’s degree in Government from Franklin & Marshall College and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.
Keller and his wife Rebecca live in Chambersburg with their three daughters.
