21 August 2023- Pennsylvania State Police are not releasing the name of a woman charged with shoplifting in Orrstown earlier this month but have released more details of the incident. Troopers responded to the Dollar General on Cumberland Highway in Orrstown for a reported retail theft.
Troopers say that a 65 year old female was found to have stolen a roll of “As Seen on TV” Alien Tape, valued at $10. She has since been issued a non-traffic citation for the incident.
A domestic dispute between a 43 year old man and a teen results in charges against the former. Troopers were called to a location on Anthony Highway in Guilford Township around 7:15pm on August 20th for a reported domestic dispute.
When Troopers arrived, they subsequently arrested a 43 year old Chambersburg man who’s name has not been released. He was subsequently cited for harassment after allegedly shoving his 15 year old daughter. PSP continue to investigate.
Two people are arrested after a reported altercation on Country Road in Guilford Township. Troopers were dispatched to the home around 3:30pm on August 20th to a reported physical altercation.
Once on scene, police found a fight between a 37 year old female and a 61 year old male. Troopers say that the male was scratched in the face by the female and the other was shoved. Both individuals were cited with harassment.
Police are investigating a reported burglary in Metal Township, Fraknlin County from earlier this month. Troopers responded to a home on Carrick Valley Road around 6pm on August 14th when they spoke to a 50 year old female victim. The victim said that an Amazon tablet was taken from her home, with the tablet valued around $150.
Pennsylvania State Police say that a truck driver was flown to York Hospital with suspected serious injuries following a crash on I-81 earlier this weekend. Troopers and EMS responded to the area around mile marker 14 on I-81NB’s off ramp around 9:20am on August 19th.
First responders found a Freightliner Cascadia tractor trailer overturned onto its driver side after failing to negotiate the off ramp’s curve. The truck sustained disabling damage to the entire driver’s side portion and the operator, a 42 year old Forestville, Maryland man, was flown to York Hospital for treatment.
